Sounds like one of the other buttons are stuck and/or leaky causing the
keypad matrix to respond intermittently. Are there any spills near the
buttons? Just a thought.

Subject: [TechAssist] JVC Model AV-35790

Hi Everyone...

I have this JVC that intermittantly develops what
appears to be a system control fault. All control
functions operate at a fraction of their normal speed
...that is, vol up/down, chan up/down, power, etc have
to be held for a long time before action is taken by
the set. This is true for both the front panel buttons
and the remote keys. My outside tech reports that
sometimes channel select changes the OSD but not the
channel itself (I have not seen this).

Has anyone run into this before?

P.S. I changed the processor ceramic resonator with no
success.

   TIA,
