Sounds like a bad coupling capacitor. Is this a mono or stereo TV?

Assisting another shop.
This JVC has good picture with no sound. After a few minutes the sound
rises to a norman level (doesn't "pop" in, rises).
Tried freeze spray, no help. Does this with the rear jacks as well.
