Bob Waterman sent me the service manual. I had the right access code for this 
particular model, but the customer's remote would not transmit code when 
simultaneously  pressing ' video status ' and ' display ' , yet all of the 
individual keypad functions were okay. Strange.

   Found on the crt circuitboard, open R311 150ohms smd (base of Q311) and
 open resistor ( 270 ohms smd, no location number on board ) from emitter of
 Q311
 to ground.
   I need the specific service menu access code for this tv, I think it is a
 new code as I can't get the clock 3:21 AM procedure to open it up. This
 JVC,
 manufactured Apr' 02, is a Toshiba/Samsung chassis with a bonded yoke tube
 (RCA?). When did these begin showing up?
