Harry,

 If it uses a STRM6511 IC in the supply circuit....change it.  I had a AP63
chassis doing the same...yours is a AP53 and is somewhat similar I believe.

 I know you resoldered some areas already....but resolder ALL heatsinked
parts and  board connectors.
