[TechAssist] Hitachi G9LXU chassis, model TN-77902, 27" TV, pincushion problem

Does anyone have any tips on this Hitachi TV for a pincushion picture
(curved on both sides)? The set came in dead with the damper diode,
D703 shorted. I am guessing that D703 is part of the pincushion
circuit. TIA.
