As I await Alvie's response I researched this AP-63 chassis.
Found info on the AP-5X and AP-6X series trouble causers.
"Dark picture or lines in picture" fix is replace: IX01,XX02, XX03 on
the 3-comb module.(3 line PWB)
IX01 is a TC9089AN IC (Hit# CP01081U),the other two are metal can-type
devices, all on the comb filter board.(Hit# BJ00141,BJ00112).
I am ordering them tomorrow from closest source.
Hitachi shows these as possible culprits.Hitachi's nice about the fair
prices on these.Very reasonable.
