Make : Hitachi
Model : 50EX39B
Problem : Shuts down intermittently.

Set will come one perfect....give the set a bump and it shuts down. Protect
light in SMPS flashes.

Okay...should be easy enough....faulty connections somewhere!

Weeeeeellll. Looked this chassis over really well.....no sign of any
faulty connection. When the set is one , I can gently tap the power
supply/deflection board and it will shut down.

I think were looking at a possible cracked trace somewhere but haven't
located it yet.

Is there any intermittent spots others may have encountered on this newer
( 4 year old) chassis?
