[TechAssist] Hitachi 46UX7BC, dead, comes on after unplugging set.

This set works most of the time?but when it goes dead, unplugging the
set from AC and plugging it back it will make it work again.  I am
guessing that unplugging it resets the microprocessor.  Sometimes,
though, the set will not come on at all.  Does it sound like bad
connections or something more complex?  TIA
