Well now, if you think THAT's bad, let me tell you something.....YOU
probably got HDTV 1st... or 2nd.... and Fort Wayne, the 2nd Largest City in
Indiana got HDTV AFTER YOU DID!!!

And do you know how much that pisses me off??? Sheesh we seem to come in
last place on everything!

But here's why: The rules on when stations go HDTV is controlled by the
market size, not by city size, Evansville may be smaller than Fort Wayne,
but combine Owensboro, Evansville etc together as one market and Voila! YOU
are bigger....Same thing with South Bend Indiana. Combine South Bend with
Goshen, Mishawaka and Elkhart and you've got 454,000 compared to 383,000
viewers....we need less farmers and more
suburban-ators.

| 15-20,My goodness.....I can't even get more than 3 here in
Owensboro,KY(off
| air).
| The others(only 3) are not pushing enough wattage to get it.
| BTW,they are ALL from Evansville,IN.........I'm in KY and am at the mercy
| of what
| IN wants to show me(unless I pay [cable or satellite]......and I mean pay
| alot).
| This 'mercy' is much worse when it comes to Sports.............
|
| Sorry.........I'm venting :-)
