[TechAssist] GE DVD player "no disc" in DVD, plays audio CD's: GE1106P-B]

DVD's do not work, audio CD's do.
Customer called this one in: This Thompson GE model GE1106P-P DVD/CD
player is less than two yrs old. About 8 months ago it started showing
"no disc" displays for DVD's. If she played around a bit it worked.Now
"no disc" for DVD's all the time. Had her try an audio CD and it works
OK. Any feedback on this??? (she said she checked all her discs for the
correct region and that's OK)
