Yeah thats what I thought at first so I installed another momentary switch
in its place, same problem. I replaced the relay diode thinking it was
breaking down under load but no go there. I'm leaning towards a
microcontroller problem but I'm not sure. If anyone else has seen this
problem I'd greatly appreciate the cure.

David,
Check the control buttons. Often moisture (windex, cola etc.),
will run off face of crt and ruin buttons. Sometimes you will see a
green corrosion around the buttons. Remove them, clean pcb and install
new controls.

Hello,

I wasn't sure if my previous post got through so here it is again.
Intermittent problem, when TV is turned on, it turns off then on,
repeatedly. Sometimes when turned on it stays on for a couple of hours but
turns off again. Has anyone seen this problem?
