your problem is B+. It is not regulated. you must have a 200V going to the collector of the HOT instead of the normal 50~80 volts. Since the B+ is to High, X ray shuts the unit down. There is a FET providing the B+. Just follow the collector line or PIN 2 of flyback. On these models there could be 2 outputs;1 for HT and one for deflexion. Both have B+ regulators. Check both.
