Go back with the orig 2SC3892A, this should correct the problem. It has a
faster switch time and lower wattage. Been there, done that! Called shooting
yourself in the foot.

Unit came in DOA.Main fuse blown,hot shorted.Changed HOT with a 2SD1880,OEM
was a 2SC3892A.The 1880 runs cool &waveforms look good.Raw B+ is 160vdc,Reg
B+ is 126vdc.Left side of pix is bowed about 1/2'',right side about
1/4''.otherwise pix is excellant.Went thru my data base&winstip.Checked all
the usual problems with pin cct,ie,transistors in the 4800
series,cr4802,c4605,c4302,scr4101,q4804,c4809,cf4704,
r4817,c4101,r4001.The reg b+ for this unit should be 129vdc but will 3vdc
make that much differance &cause the slight bow on the sides,or is the yoke
a possible culprit. Its cool to the touch,no hot spots...tia...Don of
