Did you make any other changes to your system, like changing type of LPT1
from SPP to something else (in BIOS)? Check printer cable if printing
test page thru control panel.
Did you try a self test?(Usually started by holding down LF and/or FF key
while turning power on. If bad on self test, suspect bad print head
