Paul,

If you plug the caps into the VP socket you might want to tin the leads with
solder to make the fit tighter.  We had a few recalls early on in our
experience with these bypasses done this way.  Now we take the old modules,
rebuild the ones that are not too damaged and pull the VP connector off of
the bad ones.  We solder the caps to the connector and keep them ready to go
for a quick reliable fix.
