The S-Video input was working fine on the TV. The problem was in the DVD/VCR combo: The S-Video and component outputs only work for DVD, and the channel 3/4 and composite work with VCR and DVD. Silly. Kevin, Maybe a problem with the jack.. Be sure you have the S-video plug into the same input..most of these have two inputs.. I am trying to use the S-Video input to get the best possible picture on this Sony 27" TV. The composite (yellow) input works, but when I hook up the S-Video cable there is no picture. Is there something that I am missing? Shouldn't the TV switch over to the S-Video input automatically?
