Hi Ernie, The SBX sound module was indeed my problem. The customer even told me to not bother fixing the sound because he used a separate stereo for the sound. How did you finally decide to change the SBX even though you hadn't fixed the video problem? I would have done as you did. I would have tried to fix the video before I tackled the sound problem as you can still use the TV without sound, but not without picture. Thank you for your post as I would have spent days on it. I guess it pays to fix unrelated problems that we know how to fix, first--to eliminate them as possible causes for other problems that we haven't found a solution for yet. Thanks again. By the way the intermittent snow with hourglass picture was just bad connections in the tuner.
