Condition was present in "play", tuner, and "AUX" with no video connected. Cure turned out to be two borderline electrolytics in the power supply: C624 (470/16V) measured 321mfd, ESR: 14 ohms. C608 (.22, thats point-two-two/50V) measured .1, ESR: 15 ohms. THIS IS WHERE AN ESR METER IS A MUST!!! Replaced both, all seems OK. This model has main board and power supply all one, with the horiz/flyback/vert seperate side mounted assy.
