I have had a few of those Barry. It seems to be noisy in off position. All
of my sets worked fine when turned on and I haven't had any come back yet.
There is a mod to change the value of a resistor in the secondary and
someone mentioned putting silicone on the beads to shut them up a bit. Other
than that, I haven't seen a fix for this yet. But then again, I don't do as
much RCA as an ASC would
