Kevin Try following the wires from the motor to controller ic, these ic's have high current switching circuit that applies power to the motor and reverses polarity when needed, sometimes the ic is shorted in one direction. I can not figure out why the Loading motor is turning the wrong way. If I manual load tape the Capstan will turn and then the tape is EJECTED by the VCR. > > Any thoughts? > > Kevin Gunn > Star Tek Electronic Services > 390 Springbank Drive > London, Ontario > www.ulurn.com/startek > > N6J 1G9 519-473-6366 > > **************************************************************************** * > The Tech Address Book: > http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/contact.html > Add a Repair Tip Here, or Change/Remove your Email Address: > http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Lost your Login Info?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > ***************************************************************************** The Tech Address Book: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/contact.html Add a Repair Tip Here, or Change/Remove your Email Address: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Lost your Login Info?".
