The delay line in this set was damaged by beer spilled in it. The delay line 
has an open in it now. I can jump the open and the picture is good. The 
question I have is this. There are three delay lines in this set they are all 
different nanosecond values. Doesn't this matter as to the amount of delay 
time? I have experimented using different caps to jump with and a .68mfd seems 
to work the best but there seems to be something breaking down after a while. I 
am afraid of over stessing something else and creating more problems.

I don' think there is much difference between one Delay Line over 
another. Especially if you use a scrapped one from a Mits, about the 
same vintage.

Physical size restrictions would be the only problem.

I won't ask why you would want to change it, unless it was damaged.

Just meant to delay video from chroma...check your scrap pile.
