[TechAssist] Damaged Capacitor Wizzard

I connected my Capacitor Wizzard across a charged Electrolytic and
damaged it...I replaced the two input resistors R1 and R2 which were
1 ohm also replaced opamp u1 with a lm324 but now the meter only
reads less then half scale with the leads shorted..Does anyone have any
info on what has to be replaced when the input circuit is damaged.
