You need to be more specific: what the hell does "awhile" mean? A few seconds,
minutes, hours, days.
I would first check the keyboard for corrosion.

This set plays perfect. Sometimes it takes the picture awhile to come on,but
doing this time it has High Voltage and audio. Once picture comes on,you can't
turn it off with the remote or panel button. You have to unplug it. Any info.
would be greatly appreciated.
