It crossed to a nte 960 5 volt pos regwhich is to big for were it has to go
so I temp. mounted it to the board to run a test but found more a wrong the
R680 resistor gets red hot and melts the solder joint loose.

        Does anybody know of a way to   bypass the PIP module to make the set 
work.
NAP wants 40 plus dollars for one transistor and PTS wants 112.00 dollars
for an exchange. Any info would be appreciated.
