Probably a MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) they are designed to absorb Transient
Voltages. I can probably supply you with an original Brother Part for it if
you want, or you can get a Sub from NTE....... (Part No. NTE1V250)

Subject: [TechAssist] Brother Fax Machine - Model 750 - Part Value - PCB
Location Z1

Part looks like a small ceramic capacitor; it's located across mains
(120VAC)
It's cracked on either side - Markings are C241 - PCB location Z1.

Is this a 240pf ceramic cap? Voltage rating - 250VAC?

Also fuse device PCB location F1 is open, markings T4A, I believe this
to be 4A,

can anyone please confirm this.

Thanks,
