I will try to make the morning session, but may need to be there for the
afternoon as I will be coming back from my brothers 30th birthday party in
Wisconsin.

Just a few updates from the November 30 Robotics Meeting

1. We need students to help out at the Lego League competition on Saturday,
December 4, 2010 at Eisenhower Middle School. Time is 10:00 - 3:00. Morning
volunteers should arrive by 09:45. You do not have to volunteer the whole
five hours. Even if you can help out for a few, it will make a difference.
So far, students volunteering are Amanda, Aaron, Eli, Matt, Murray, and Ty.
Mentors volunteering are Bud and Jaime.

Will someone please take a few pictures at this event. We can use them for
a newsletter and our awards application? If you are willing to take
pictures, send Mary an email at mjohnson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

More information about the Lego League competition is available at
http://www2.rps205.com/Newsroom/Pages/20101122_LEGOLeague.aspx

2. Parents are invited to attend a meeting at Eigerlab on Tuesday, December
7 at 5:00. We will be talking about how parents can support team during the
season. Attached

3. We're asking all team members to help with one non-technical job. So
far, we have:

*       Fundraising:  Jaime, Caroline, Aaron
*       Email Updates:
*       Website:  Ty, Paul
*       Awards:  Aaron
*       Promotion:  Caroline, Eli, John
*       Photography:  Matt, Shayne, Brendon
*       Team Spirit:  Jeff

There is sign up chart on the wall near tables. Make sure to sign up for one
of these non-tech jobs if you have not already done so.

4. There is also a sign up chart for those interested in serving as team or
subteam captains. If you are interested in one of these positions, please
add your name to the chart. We will be voting on captains at the December 16
meeting.

Hope to see you all at the December 7 meeting.

Mary
