I must say that last night was great! It definitely was the best open house we
have ever had. I was really looking forward to putting the pressure on some
school board members and talking to the Major and those we no shows, so maybe
next year. Also for next year we need to make sure the Rockford newspaper team
gets there, We have had them in the past and have had great coverage by them.
Caroline you looked great on TV last night. The team photos without the robot
came out really good but the bright aluminum in the robot messed up the
metering on the team pictures with the Bot. I tried to Photoshop them best as
I could but still not the greatest. Next time I will have to go to full screen
exposure metering when we have a big Bot out front. Live and learn, just like
you kids are doing, but at my age, I just don't suck it up as fast as you young
kids. By the way I was really impressed with the Robot and the minibot. I
will see you guys at least on Saturday at Milwaukee and my plans have changed
and no longer think I can make Nationals. Great job and good luck at tech
inspection and heat matches on Thursday and Friday March 10-11.
