Has anyone installed a wig wag system at an emergency vehicle site exit onto
the highway that allows a variable length of flashing red period to
according to the number of exiting vehicles. A fixed length red period long
enough for a full fleet turnout will delay main road traffic unneccessarily
when only one or two engines are leaving and may lead to red light jumping
(possibly into the path of another engine who is running a few seconds
behind)
