I’m with Jimmy Franco, here in the valley Sal’s in Selma. It’s 30 minutes
from the launch site. It’s a landmark for good old Mexican/American Food.
Hard to beat them, they just celebrated 70 years in the business.

Someone on The Rocketry Forum is planning for LDRS and has asked for
restaurant recommendations near the launch. Of course there is Harris
Ranch, but what else is within an easy drive of the site, and also near the
recommended hotels in Coalinga and Fresno?
I went to a Mexican place after Dairy Aire with fellow rocketeers but have
no idea of the name of the restaurant or even what town I was in. I’m not
from the area, but it was a small town that I think was much closer than
Coalinga and Fresno. Those would be some good place to know about.
