Yeah let’s upscale it and make a proper saucer I’m thinking 38 or 54 and maybe
100 of those LEDs on there with about 20 W of power
A 32u4 is also a good programming vehicle because it’s completely Arduino
compatible (oodles of programming examples) and is the fastest AtMel I mean
microchip makes
Eric the one I made had an at tiny 85 which is a little eight pin device
You need to do ICSP programming instead of USB I can send you the link to the
programmer off-line
I also have a to do list for Scotty he’s using the Neo pixels for some cool
glass projects
I dream about a giant pyramid with 1000 LEDs on each side where we could scroll
images up and down as it’s floating under a military parachute

I am definitely going to keep tinkering with the prototype you gave me.
First area is maybe stepping down to a 30" mylar chute, so it fits. Secondly,
we need a better small ignitor for those D21 motors. I'm thinking some really
thin nichrome on a thin "dip".

How many people would be interested
in something like this?
What is your wishlist in terms of features?
Besides the saucer what cool things would you like to have for a rocket?
Eric and I tested A prototype at October skies and speaking of learning from
mistakes I uncovered a few things last night that I’m going to improve on the
next design…
