Pretty neat Jimmy, looks like your having a good time in Florida. Keep an
eye out for the Gators and Critters.

The weathercocking had the most influence on the landing zone.
Funny part was the gators were not the scariest part of the recovery, it
was all the nuts shooting weapons all around us. In some areas the ground
was completely covered in spent shells. Crazy!

James, Was there a barge out in the swamp, they were trying to land on? Or
was it just an "old school" recovery..dropping it in the water thing?

Thanks just Awesome. I remember in Miami I used to fly rockets on the
beach, back then there we no fiberglass
kits so we liked to keep someone out in a boat to recover just in case.
But yeah, we are so freaking lucky to have Steve Maddox supporting us!
Can't wait until next launch - I have Rocket fever for sure :-)

Great people over here, I have done nothing but make new friends.
The landscape for launching rockets, well, first choice not so much.
Had a good time today at SRA launch. But also took a boat ride to help
with the recovery of SRA presidents 4” Screech, LOL. It was an adventure to
say the least. The rocket flew to just over 10k and landed about ¾ of a
mile N/W… in a swamp, probably with gators in it.
Maybe next weekend I'll head up to the NEFAR launch 😊

James!
Good to hear from you - weather in florida in the winter is the best time
ever the whole year!
Send us some pictures at the launch and we miss you to man!

Good luck with the stumps Ben.
The wet weather sucks for rocketry. Its all good over here on the cape.
So this weekend I'm going to check out the local club. SRA in Palm Bay.
Hopefully they have a decent launch field so I an get in some HPR action.
It's been a while seen I launched something cool. The waiver is decent,
13.5 k. I miss launching with you guys, but should be back later in
spring. See you guys soon.

Thanks Mike and James, I don't have the clay out here but it's still wet
out, and I'm scheduled to remove tree stumps this weekend... wish me luck.

Good afternoon everyone.
With the last rain that came through, and with the dense fog and very
little sun. I say we launch in February.
I was out at Steve’s this morning. It’s really slick and muddy out there.
It’s even to wet at my place to get into the field and spray.
Plus we may be getting more rain between now and Saturday.
