on the Cuban missile crises. Then converted to a trainer. Then the Marines
obtained it from the navy for special ops in Vietnam. Later back to a trainer.
In the early 70’s, Cal Fire obtained it to be converted to a firefighting Air
Tanker. It never was converted
Cal Fire had cutbacks in the late 80’s and put her out for public bid.
I won that bid. I took possession in 1991. And after 20 years. Sandy and I
found her final home.
