Left Friday about 2:15PM. Met up with Joe, Ronnie,Mark, and Emily at the Home Depot in the Woodlands. Took 45N to 242E to 59N. Joe had a flat tire on the passenger side of the bus about 30 miles from Nacogdoches in Lufkin. We pulled over at the perfect spot, some old gas station. Dan,Mark, and Ronnie (like Ronnie said it took 1100lbs) got Joe's tire off . Then they put the spare tire on. Joe drove to the nearest gas station got more air in the spare and went to get another tire in Lufkin. The rest of us-Mark&Emily,Ronnie,Dan, & I went to the RV Park. Well we looked for the RV Park. We found a RV Park south of Nac. that was really nice but it wasn't the Pineywoods RV Park. So,I went in the RV office and asked directions on how to get to Pineywoods RV Park. There was 3 people in the office, one lady that worked there, and a couple. I ask where's the Pineywoods RV Park and the guy says to me,"You have a Volkswagen shirt on do you know where the VW show in Nac. is this weekend?" I said,"First you can you tell me where Pineywoods RV Park is?" Then we got directions from the lady, and told the other couple where the VW show was on Saturday.Come to find out they where from Michigan and had a green Westie they were traveling around in. They came to check out our busses and then we asked the lady that runs the place if there were any RV spots available. She said, "Yes but no electric spots available." So we got back in the bus and headed to Pineywoods RV Park. Found it! It was ok. She told us we could have 2 electric spots but charged us $20 per bus. So we squeezed into 2 electric spots with 10 busses total. Ronnie gets out his extension cord plugs in his radio nothing happens.Dan gets out our extension cord nothing happens. So now we have 2 electric spots she tells us to go to that don't work. Then this homeless looking guy comes up and asks,"Huh, guess there's no electricity?" We say no there's not any. Come to find out he works for the lady that runs the RV Park. He goes and gets some tools, gets it working about an hour after we got there. Mark,Emily, and I drove to the store to get some ice, snacks, and beer. We got back to the RV spot and Ronnie cooked cheeseburgers and had some salad. Mark cooked sausages. Food was very good. Thanks to Joe,Ronnie, & Mark. Then Jack & Tina showed up, they had steaks & wine. Then Billy and Keith showed up in Billy's black bug, Billy is a HAC and Keith is his friend who lives in Nac. Keith might be our best friend next year for the Nac show campout extravaganza. He offered for us to stay at his place next year. I thought it was very nice of him to say that to us especially when he didn't even know us that well. Billy and Keith are both police officers. But they're cool, up to a point...So everyone had a OK time on Friday night.

Saturday got up around 7AM had a bowl of cereal, got packed up and went to the show, got there around 9ish. Well the rest you will hear at the TX Classic by a campfire or after a couple of beers............................................
