Ronnie,

What is the name of the book your son is reading?

I'm flying out on Sunday. My plan is to drive back through 12 states, some
2,000 miles. Per Allan's suggestion, I plan to go through Virginia and
North Carolina drive the Skyline Drive (100 miles) in Shenandoah National
Park (VA) and the Blue Ridge Parkway (470 miles thru VA and NC). According
to the map it's not too far out of the way and if I get tired of all the
beautiful mountains, I can drive west about 20 miles and hit the interstate.

I spoke to the shop that is preparing the bus and they should have
everything done by this Friday. Shocks, tires, front brakes & bearings,
flush radiator, replace belts and tune-up.

I'll be stopping at Lake Texoma for Thanksgiving, then back to Houston on
Saturday. My son that was never really interested in Sparky is already
making plans to take my new bus back to college. I think he has just about
finished reading the book I gave him where the two college guys drive from
Texas to Oregon in a VW van and he thinks that's what he needs to do next
summer;-)

My listing on EBAY for our GMC conversion van will begin next Saturday. I
hope to get enough to cover the cost of the van and the repairs, plus some
spending money.

I will take my PC with me and send you guys an update somewhere along the
line.

Dan, I'll get with you on reinstating my work e-mail so I can write to the
list.

Ronnie
