Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: .hmmessage P { margin:0px; padding:0px } body.hmmessage { FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY:Tahoma } for those not on the dallas aircoolers site here is an update on hershey here ya go: engine bay is rewired, new wires for reverse lights, tailights, blinkers, coil, battery light, and oil light. motor now has a webber progressive carb on it, a freshly rebuilt distributor with a new vacuum can, fresh paint on tin and engine(cause that adds like 50hp) i will reroute the full flow lines tonight to eliminate the risk of burn through, new gaskets on everything top end, ran the valves, new oil light switch, new to me altenator...all the engine lacks is the fan shroud and very rear peice of tin which are at a friends house to be welded on to eliminate all the heater stuff (doesn't work so why have it) also, i have installed the new deck lid (thanks sammie) and have arranged to have it painted soon, may make some cringe at the idea but i think it'll be bad ass (diana hates it which means i like it more), and i just purchased an adjustable beam for it two days ago from franklins vw werks...$330 with core for an adjustable beam...pretty good deal. motor, hopefully, will be stabbed this weekend so i can drive it a bit while waiting on the beam to be shipped. then it's back to the grind stone to get the beam in it. that's the update on the bus thus far. i've been busting butt on him lately...cause i miss driving the poor bastard --------------------------------- Connect and share in new ways with Windows Live.
