Turned out to be a screwed up 'fix' by a P.O. ...They
used a butt connector to connect two different guage
wires, the smaller of the two had come loose just
enough to not make contact, but stayed in the plastic
part of the connector, makin' it real hard to see that
it HAD come loose.
BTW, this was the wire goin' up to the GEN light
(which stayed off cause of the loose connection.

Dog is runnin' fine AND chargin' its own battery!
