I would suggest Lyle Cherry; but not sure what his status is.  Damon Harmon
builds trannys and you could also check with Kelly at the Bugstop and Jack Wenk
at Black Gold as to what they are doing for tranny builds now that Lyle is ill.

Well I finally got around to pulling the engine on my bus that quit on the way
to the Tx Classic and it's not good.
The #4 rod seized to the crank.  There are metal shavings everywhere.  The
block has already been line bored to 40 so I think
I'm gonna head over to Doug's at Qualitat and see what he has on the shelf.
Maybe bump it up to a 1776cc.
Wish I had deep pockets like Paul and get me one of those zero mile long
blocks:)

Anybody know any tranny guys in Dallas?  I need to get my speed up and rpm's
down.  I'd like to take it to Oakhill but I don't have 6 months:)

Hope to be ready for Julies shin dig but for T@P for sure.
