I think if I were in Europe this would be attractive however I'd have to
question the fact that would VW be any better than say Lenny Coop at West
Coast Classics?

Also ACVWs haven't been produced in Germany for a long time, and I would
have to ask myself if  the hassle of shipping etc is worth it too,
especially with a rare bus.  Then getting it back without any damage etc.
 That's just me personally.

Yeah, if you have the scratch it would be something to do but a lot less
hassle to just send it to California.  Yeah, you'd have to wait months,
maybe years but it may at least let you sleep at night instead of having
your bus wind up at the bottom of the ocean after the shipping container
fell overboard...
