Made the Rose City show today. Bout 100+ show cars + lots of VWs parked in
spectator area. Huge swap meet, sort of reminded me of the old days of Ennis.
Not many nice busses. Didn't see anything really unusual except for more
single cabs in one show than I have ever seen. Most of the SCs were in the
category of everyday work trucks. With all of the SCs I thought of you Paul.
First part of the cruise started right after the show. Cruised about 75 miles
down to Carvilis OR. Tomorrow its over to the Pac Coast Highway and down the
OR coast to CA.
And Denis, the bridge across the Columbia in downtown gives a gorgeous view of
Portland and the river. Would have stopped to take a picture but didn't think
the traffic on I 5 would have appreciated me stopping in the middle of the
bridge.
