Are you driving a bay or a split?

I had Thursday and Friday off so I drove to OKC to see my mom. Uneventful
trip. Flash did fine, cruised at 65 up and back. Average 18 MPG. Funny
that's what I averaged when I drove back from New Hampshire when I first picked
up my bus. That was with a 2.1L and now I have a 2.4L, but exactly the same
mileage. But, way more power. Not that the Arbuckle Mountains are really
mountains, but the RPM didn't drop at all.

By the way, since Flash is a Canadian, I was really driving 105 KPH and got
29 KPG.

Spotted a dark blue and white bay getting off the highway just south of
Dallas. Later saw a nice looking, blue and white Vanagon heading north on I-45.

Found a VW junk yard on Robinson south of downtown OKC, but didn't stop.
They had several buses.

The crazy dude on SE 44th on OKC still has his metal fence around his VW
graveyard. I think he has added a few spray painted signs saying to keep out.
Too bad, before he put up the fence you could see he had plenty of junk back
there.

  That's it, happy holiday.

  Ronnie
