That's very cool.  Did they offer you any moonshine while you were there.  I mean Ethanol is only a stones throw molecularly to White Lightening....

Also, NASCAR is for folks who have missing teeth.. Thought you knew?

Subject: [tcb] Trip Report - US Grand Prix (modified)

Well not the US Grand Prix, but a real trip report from last weekend.

One of my suppliers sponsors the Ethanol IRL car.  He invited me to Texas Motor Speedway to the races last Saturday.

Drove to Fort Worth and checked into the Marriott near the track.

Parked my car and found the supplier waiting at the Credentials building.

He asked me how much was the parking? $20, he hands me a $20.

Hands me a golf shirt & hat

Get my Pit Pass and they tell me I get ot ride in one the Pace Cars before the race.

Go down into the pits where they are preping the cars, get a tour by the IRL officials

Go to the Ethanol tent and have free beer & food

A golf cart shows up and takes me and another guy over to the end of pit row where we jump into a Honda Accord Pace Car.  Davey Hamilton, that finished 9th in the Indy 500 this year, takes us around the track at about 115 MPH.  He is talking to us like we are a stop sign and he is going around the track.

Go back to the Ethanol tent & the two drivers, Jeff Simmons & Scott Sharp, for the Rahal/Letterman team come over and have lunch with us and sign autographs.

Walk over to the seats where the vendor has headsets, radios and beer waiting for us

Watch the race, our guys finish in the Top 10.

Drive back to the free hotel room

Vendor buys breakfast

Drive home and mow the yard (back to reality).

Good time, too bad is wasn't for a NASCAR race.

Ronnie
