I just heard that long-time VW enthusiast and prolific swap meeter Tom Titus
passed away after a battle with cancer. A memorial service is scheduled for
Sunday with burial Monday. I don't have any other details at this time. I had
known Tom for about 25 years, since way back when he was working for Bob Guest
at Farm Fresh VWs. He was probably most familiar in our area with his little
black split window beetle which he had spent years putting together and for his
appearance at most swap meets with a host of early VW parts.
Support cancer research, that disease gets too many of our friends and families.
