I've done that with a jack also. I think it's time for me to invest in some car
skates. right now if I want to move stuff around in the garage I find the
balance point, pick the whole car up and spin it around on the jack.

Actually, jacking up the back and rolling it in is exactly what we did.
Unfortunately, there are two 2" step-like rises into our garage so it was jack
it, slide it, watch the jack fall over, brace the bus so it didn't roll back
again, jack it, slide it, watch the jack fall over, rinse, repeat.
