Just bad luck. Murray was running fine and then started missing badly so I
pulled over and saw smoke from the engine vents. When I lifted the engine lid
the left Kadron carb was big on fire. I have a hire extinguisher inside, but
the fire was so big and with the gas tank inches away, I got away. The fire
department got there in four minutes but the rear of Murray was fully in flame.
The body of the bus is not in bad shape, no metal warping I can see. The
interior is gutted and I lost a lot of glass.
I need a new recliner
