My friend John who works at the local VW dealership found these and asked me to
pass the info along.  I know nothing about them so please contact  John,
beemerboy80@xxxxxxxxx
If interested. Sounds like there may be a nice project or two there for someone!

Located today (Sunday) in a location outside of Abilene:
1957 double-door panel
1967 station wagon

No motors installed in either. However, the '57s motor may be inside.
Both have spots of rust. The '67 appears to have originated in Beaumont,
Texas. The '67 was red and white; the '57 was blue. Both are
significant "project" vehicles. Do you know anyone who is looking for
a winter challenge? I have no interest in purchasing either, fyi; I'm just
trying to put the seller together with a buyer (or buyers).
John
P.S. There were a number of "Bay Window" buses, too, including one
"sunroof". No Vanagons. No Westfalias. No pick-up trucks. One 2.0
liter, a '78.
