Yeah, I have one but I don't think it tests what I really want. A load test. I realized it was suspect 2 minutes after Tractor Supply closed. I am gonna get an Optima battery if I still can't find the receipt tonight. I remember it takes a week to get one though since, oddly enough, no one really uses 6 or 8 v batteries much... That should turn it fine. is it a battery you can check with a hydrometer? (an old but good tool for checking specific gravity of the acid/water mixture in a battery.) you'd need removable caps to check it. Took the starters to the rebuild place. New one checks out old one is shot. Replaced the new one, replaced the primary wire with 000 gauge, left the battery on the charger all night. it was drawing 1 amp when I took it off the charger, but I only have a 6v setting on it... It measured 8v before I turned the key, then it went down to 2v then back up to 7v and stayed there. No one around here can check an 8v so I'm taking it back tomorrow. There was barely a spark when I tried to cross start it.
