Alternator, alternator stand, bushing for starter (or a starter from an automatic), light bulbs all around. The 6V wiper motor will still work. I am forgetting something. But it's not all that difficult. Of course, I am talking about a pre '67. -----Original Message----- From: tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tcb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Julie Sent: Friday, May 06, 2011 7:49 AM To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] 12v vs 6v My brother's friend's 17 year old is Bus shopping (in CT). He asked me about the ease and expense and sucess of converting a 6v to a 12v and wants to know if it is worth it. Any quick answers? I know the one year only wiper motors are pricey. Other than that I don't know much.
