Good Morning NCD!
For those of you going to NCD Convention, I will see you all very soon and
I know all of us on the council and leadership team are excited for the
weekend. There have been a few questions about Convention and I want to
address them with everyone to make sure we are on the same page.
1) If you lost your membership card at Registration you are going need
another form of verification. This can be a driver license or if you are
able to pull up your status on the OMRS that would be another indicator of
your status. Even with that, someone from the leadership team may have to
come over and verify for the host chapter that you are indeed supposed to
be there. This isn't an excuse NOT to bring your membership card, but if it
is lost or simply haven't received one yet this is the protocol.
2) The opening gavel is going to be at 5:30pm EST on Friday afternoon.
Registration will be from 3:00pm-10:00pm in the atrium of the convention
center. If you miss it on Friday, you have time on Saturday to get
registered.
3) If you are a delegate, if you did not receive an email about committee
assignments then you are not on one. But it is your responsibility is to
show up Friday for Joint & Separate Session for the seating of the
delegates. If you are not there for Seperate Session starting at 6:00 PM, a
proxy will be seated for your chapter.
