brief synopsis of each workshop to get you more interested and excited to
register and join us!
Advocacy and Accessibility: Join Kat & Emily as they discuss some basic to
mid-level concepts of accessibility and advocacy.
Building Lasting Donors: This will focus on steps for building
relationships to increase your chapters donor retention over time.
What We’ve Learned from COVID-19: Which of the new COVID-19 strategies will
be worth keeping when we return “back to normal?” What lessons learned will
stay with us moving forward?
Sorority Song History & Performance: Join us as we explore our sorority
songs in-depth as a part of our 75th Anniversary programming!
Fundamentals for Instrumentalists: Participants will be led through
fundamental techniques to make the most of their practice sessions through
a variety of activities, including breathing exercises, long tones, and
sight-reading.
Fundamentals of Conducting: This interactive workshop will teach Sisters
and Brothers with minimal conducting experience the basics of conducting.
Movement Block: This session is for everyone, dancers and non-dancers
alike! Siobhan will lead participants through stretching and movement
basics, followed by a barre/center floor combo.
*Creating a Culture of Celebration:* In this session, attendees will learn
ways to celebrate the accomplishments of their chapter members, and band in
small and big ways to create a Culture of Celebration!
For Greater Professionals. Transferable Skills in Tau Beta Sigma and Beyond: In
this workshop we will discuss the many ways you can gain transferable
professional skills in TBS and how you can best translate this unique
experience into building your future career.
How to Meeting Good-Using Robert's Rules: Do you dread going to your
chapter meeting because it takes FOREVER? Have no fear-in this workshop,
you will learn how Robert's Rules is not only NOT terrifying, but will help
you achieve chapter meetings in 30 minutes or less! Like a pizza, but less
delicious, but also more satisfying in the long term.
Project Management 101: Join the Project Management 101 workshop to get
strategies, tips, and tricks for managing projects within your chapter,
band, and life!
