Hi Jodi,

I hope this email finds you doing well.

I wanted to reach out to you and the Tallahassee Builder's Association, in
hopes that you could pass a message along to all of your members. Back in
December, one of my colleague's- Olivia Thomas- informed you of our electrical
pre-apprenticeship class which she overseas. I would also like to inform you of
programs that I currently oversea such as Welding, Industrial Machinery
Maintenance and Computer Numerical Controls. Myself and Olivia are always
looking for opportunities for our students whether that is part-time employment
or full-time employment. These students all possess skills that are
transferable to the industry needs. As for Olivia's students they are beginning
to 'graduate' from the program and are looking for jobs in a variety of career
paths. Mainly my students are all in different sections of their perspective
programs which is why I say part-time or full-time. We would really appreciate
you informing your members that our students are eager to get to work and our
classes afford students the opportunity to at least earn both an OSHA10
certification and the NCCER Core Certification. These certifications give
students that edge needed for the industry when it comes to safety. Our
students also participate in a variety of professional development workshops
and seminars. Our goal is for our students to be Workforce ready when they
leave us here at Tallahassee Community College.
